Research interests within KHeaT

Research at the Health Robotics and Automation Lab (IAR-HERA) focuses on minimally invasive medical robotics for diagnosis and treatment. Methods of machine learning, controllable soft robotic systems as well as intelligent surgical assistance systems are used.

We particularly address micro-surgical applications in ophthalmology and neurosurgery, as well as autonomous robotic assistance for visceral surgery.
