Research interests within KHeaT

The interaction between users and mobility systems as well as the behaviour change of users in the mobility systems are the basis of our research. Therefore we want to develop intelligent sensors and  wearables to track and analyse users behaviour in the mobility system. Our focus is on users attentiveness and their individual performance as well as their general physical condition and well-being. With the knowledge gained in this way and the recorded data, we are able to design future mobility systems and autonomous vehicles which meet better the needs of users. Furthermore, the knowledge of users physical condition enables the system to adapt ideally to the user, to recognize dangerous situations at an early stage and to counteract better or even prevent them.
